One of my favorite things about this time of year is making some hot cocoa on a cold night and snuggling up by the fire, then pop in a Christmas movie and the night is golden. But the thing about hot cocoa is that it can't be too watery, or too bitter, or too thick, it has to be just right and my husband has really perfected it this year. His dad makes an excellent cocoa so Adam has carried that on and created his own recipe. He is very much a "go by the taste" type of chef so as you make this recipe, feel free to add a little more of what you think tastes good. Hope you enjoy!!
| CHRISTMAS COCOA |
4 cups whole milk
1/2 cup hot chocolate powder [we use private selection]

Heat milk in a pan over the stove, then add powder and stir until mixed together. Remove from heat and add sweetened condensed milk, stirring with a candy cane to add that hint of peppermint. Serve with whip cream on top.
