It's been a tradition in my family for a few years now to go skiing on Christmas Eve before the nights festivities, so while we were on our Christmas vacation in Utah visiting family we couldn't wait to hit the slopes. Adam and I both grew up skiing so we love going anytime we can while in Utah because after all it is the greatest snow on earth. We headed up early in the morning with my family and left little Capri with her other grandparents [maybe next year she'll be big enough to put on some skies]. Our favorite family ski spot is Deer Valley because it's just amazing. All the lifts are super fast with really comfy seating and my Dad loves the kleenex boxes in the line ready for you. The views are so gorgeous up there overlooking Jordanelle and the lodges are the nicest with the best food you can find in Utah. My favorite is the famous turkey chili, it really is the best I've ever had. We had such a fun day skiing with everyone, especially my nephew who is only ten years old and he handled every run like a stud. Until next year, we'll miss those white caps Utah!
