I can't believe Mother's Day is next weekend, it has come so soon this year! It's pretty crazy for me to think that this is my second Mother's Day. I feel so honored and blessed to be part of this amazing adventure called motherhood and I think it really is the greatest job in the whole world [definitely not the easiest, but the most rewarding]. I love that we have a day to celebrate our mom's and all the women around us who have helped make us into the people we are today. I have gathered up some of my favorite gifts that I think are thoughtful too, so you can get a gift for the wonderful lady in your life without breaking the bank.

First off, I think you can never go wrong with flowers because they just brighten any day and I cannot get enough of them. I think Trader Joe's has the best inexpensive flowers, but you can find a pretty bunch at any local grocery store and wrap them in paper with a pretty bow or find an inexpensive vase from Micheal's.
I am also a big smell person so perfume and candles are some of my favorite things. This perfume from Anthropologie has always been a favorite of mine and their candles are the best. You just can't go wrong with either of these gifts - plus the price is right.
Every mother needs a great robe that she can throw on in the morning while getting ready, rounding up kids, trying to make breakfast, running carpools, and just lounging around while still feeling covered and comfy. This one from Gap is a great lightweight texture for this time of year and the price is great.
Some perfect springtime essentials are a great scarf to wear with anything, a cute pair of flats, and a great tote bag for traveling and the beach so these are my favorites I found that are also affordable.
A custom embosser is one of the most thoughtful gifts I think, especially if you have a mother-in law like me who has the most beautiful collection of stationary and is always sending hand-written cards. That's why I also love an initial pendant necklace because it shows you put a lot of thought into their gift and it always has a lot of meaning to receive something custom made just for you.
Hand lotion is something a woman always needs in her purse and that's why this pretty set of L'Occtaine is a great gift. I love these tubes and how this lotion cures any dry or cracked hands.
For the mom who loves to cook and be in the kitchen, I think this "Salad A Day" cookbook is a great idea and you'll benefit from taste-testing all the yummy recipes:)
And of course, you can't go wrong with chocolate! V Chocolates makes some of my favorite caramels and they deliver anywhere. Your mother will love them - trust me.
