I can't believe the weekend is over, it just goes by way too fast and having my husband home to help out is the best! We are slowly starting to venture out more and more with our new little babe and as a family of four, but our outing this past weekend was well worth it. We were invited to try out the fabulous new summer picnic baskets that The Albright restaurant on the Santa Monica pier is offering and it made for such a fun night. We picked up our basket that was all packed and ready for us, complete with a blanket and we walked down to the sand to enjoy our meal. We chose the summer harvest basket that had buttermilk farm fried chicken, fire-roasted corn, potato salad, and home-made s'more sandwiches for dessert. They even have kids meal options that you can add on to your basket so it's perfect for the whole family. We love picnics around here so I think this is such a great idea for the summer to have a delicious restaurant make your basket for you so you don't have to worry about a thing just picking it up and having a good time plus it's a great location being right by the beach and being able to enjoy all the fun things in Santa Monica as well. We will definitely be using them again! I'm thinking we just throw in some bubbly and date night sounds pretty romantic cuddled up on a blanket somewhere;)
