At Home Spa Day
When I got pregnant this last time, we really tried to give our two other kids as much attention as we could because I knew my time would soon get taken up by a new baby. We planned different date nights with each of them and one thing I started with Capri is a girls spa date. Instead of going out to get our nails done like we usually do, we decided to stay at home and do all things girly. I let Capri pick what she wanted and the list contained a big jacuzzi bath tub, painting our nails in all the pink shades, doing makeovers, putting on all my jewelry, and then twirling around in dress ups. She also picked the pink drinks and popcorn to go with the dance party and pillow fight to end the night. Now we've started a tradition that I hope will continue even when she's grown up and wants to go to a real spa;) I love this age she is at so much where she is getting older and can chat my ear off, but she's also still my baby girl who wants to be a princess ballerina and giggles over everything. We both have our birthdays back-to-back this week so it's a perfect time to put on our matching Talaria gold flats that are the most comfy slip-ons and have some girl time with my one and only. I love these cute new little girl shoes that they just launched because they are easy to fold-up and take anywhere or just where around the house when you want to be comfy. I really hope she'll always want to twin with me.
