Wow what a year! Looking back on all of our memories from 2018 and all of our family videos and photos capturing so many memories, I’m reminded of how busy it was. We did so much this past year and it was the fastest year of my life, especially with the birth of our third baby, Roman! I can’t get over how fast he has grown up. Bringing him into our family was the greatest part of the year and also the most challenging because juggling three kids had its ups and downs. Before he was born we vacationed in Hawaii and enjoyed a fun baby moon, had lots of fun family dates and soaked up our time together. Then once he came along, I thought I’d never be able to venture out with three kids by myself but somehow you figure it out and I ended up doing a road trip with all three kids alone and flying to Utah and Florida with them. I also never thought I’d make it back to Disneyland, but we definitely went our fair share this year. One of the greatest parts about being a parent is seeing the bonds form between each of your kids. The relationships they each have are so special and it’s amazing how Rome just fits right in with them. The big focus this past year was family and cherishing every part of bringing a new baby into the world and all that comes with it. We are truly blessed for all the blessings that have been brought into our life and another big change that came this past year was Adam changing jobs. I’m so glad that he gets to do something he loves that’s also challenging and exciting.

-visited Britt & Rich in San Diego after they moved for a fun beach day and favorite tacos
-spent a full day at Disneyland with the kids
-Trip to Hawaii for two weeks where we visited Oahu and Kona
| FEBRUARY |
-Torrance farmers market and family date night to Dinosaur museum
-visited the Griffith Park Observatory with friends
-celebrated Adam’s 33rd birthday
-babymoon to Pasadena and saw Aladdin on Broadway
-friends at church threw me a fun baby shower
| MARCH |
-went to a tea party lunch with close friends to celebrate baby boy
-Capri had her family fun day at school where we all got to go
-my mom came into town and that night I went into labor with Roman
-Roman Beckham Hale joined our family on March 13th after a long labor
-Adam took on a new playhouse project and remodeled a new space outdoors for the kids
-celebrated Easter with brunch and our own backyard Easter egg hunt
| APRIL |
-Adam’s parents came into town to celebrate our April birthdays [we went out on a date night of dinner and shopping]
-spent the day on Balboa Island for a photoshoot with Fawn Design
-Capri turned 5 and I threw her a princess tea party and on her birthday she got to visit The American Girl Doll Store to pick out a present, eat lunch at her favorite place and get a birthday treat
| MAY |
-visited Adam’s parents in Laguna Beach
-Capri invited me to a mothers day tea party at her school
-Adam made a big career change to work for Bird scooters
-hosted my Dad for a weekend visit and we rode Birds while touring Venice
-Met Britt and Rich in Dana Point for a Fathers Day dinner
-took all three kids to Disneyland for the first time
-Adam left to Alaska for a guys fishing trip with the Rice family [my mom came to visit while he was gone]
| JUNE |
-we blessed Roman in our church and hosted a family brunch at our house after
-went to the aquarium of the pacific with my parents
-Liam was potty trained and made the change to big boy underwear
-took our family to Mormon Dodger night
-Capri had her dance recital and loved being on stage
-Liam took private swim lessons and learned how to swim without any floats
-Capri had her preschool graduation said goodbye to Ms. Bon and her BFF Lucy
-I took a road trip to St George with the kids to be with cousins and go boating, see Cinderella at Tuacahn
| JULY |
-beach with friends for 4th of July and BBQ in our backyard with our own firework show
-celebrated Liam’s 3rd birthday with a weekend trip to Legoland
-went down to Hale family trip to Hotel Del Coronado for Karen’s 60th bday and visited Sea World with cousins
| AUGUST |
-went to a fun party for Luna Baby with the kids
-had a fun girls trip with the Rice family down in San Diego
-met my friends for a Pasadena girls reunion in Newport
-lots of swimming and beach days with the kids
-Liam started Tae Kwon Do and killed us all with cuteness in that uniform
-took Capri on a back-to-school shopping date
| SEPTMBER |
-threw Tina a sunshine baby shower at our house
-said goodbye to summer with a beach weekend for Labor Day
-Capri started Kindergarten and Liam had his first day of Preschool
-Capri had her first Soccer season with the Purple Ponies
-I went to Utah for a quick weekend trip to help put together the Stilo Stream Boutique grand opening
-visited the LA Zoo with the Ballards
| OCTOBER |
-trip to Utah to see the beautiful Fall weather and then off to Florida for Halloween
-threw Brittney a baby shower for her baby boy arriving in January
-went to Disney World for the first time with our kids [Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom]
-Capri read her first book
-J.crew invited me to host an event with them to celebrate their new collection
| NOVEMBER |
-I ran and trained for the Palos Verdes half marathon
-Capri went to her first daddy daughter dance at her school that was a Masquerade Ball
-went to Disneyland for all the holiday festivities and Capri met with all the princesses
-celebrated Thanksgiving with a fun dinner out at Flemming’s then a movie and bowling
-decorated the house for Christmas and Adam put up the Christmas lights that never got turned on
| DECEMBER |
-got a special visit from Santa on our street one night and took lots of walks through candy cane lane
-took Capri and Liam on an ice skating date and lunch and also made a trip to FaLaLa Land
-got our annual Christmas card photos taken
-had our annual Christmas Eve with our little fam and after Christmas morning took off to Utah to see family
-celebrated Christmas with the Rice family, saw temple square lights, ice skating, sledding, and skiing
-had holiday festivities with the Hale family at The Grand America, saw The Nutcracker, Eggs Benedict breakfast, Mary Poppins movie, Hanukkah party and games
-drove to San Diego to cheer on the Utes at the holiday bowl
-celebrated New Years with the rice family and a fun day at Del Mar beach
