Happy First of October! The mornings have really started to cool down here and it makes it feel like Fall has arrived which makes me so happy. As much as I love summertime, there is something about the fall and everything that comes with it that I just love. I crave sweater weather, hot cocoa, and all the holiday festivities. I’ve already baked my first batch of pumpkin chocolate chip bread today and put out pumpkins on the porch so I’d say we’re kicking things off right. I’m hoping to take the kids to the pumpkin patch this weekend so we can finish off our front porch and maybe let them carve out some scary pumpkins to add to the mix. We also love to go apple picking and visit a corn maze, so we’ll see if we can fit it all in this busy month in between the soccer games and dance rehearsals. And with this new month I’ve had to go through the boys clothes to see what things still fit them and what I need to get them for this season - they grow out of clothes so quick!
