I am so excited to share with you today the Mother's Day Tea Party that I put together with the fabulous, Elizabeth from SugarHero. She is an incredibly talented pastry chef with a dessert blog that will have you drooling over every picture. So she made all the goodies for the party and I put together the scene and together we made the perfect event. When I found this beautiful tea set, I based the whole color scheme around it and we loved how it turned out with lots more bright colors than we had originally planned. We wanted something that was elegant and fun for Sunday brunch or a luncheon with just girls to celebrate the wonderful women in your life. I think nothing sounds more feminine than enjoying scones and cake with a cup of cocoa in a beautifully painted tea set. The menu consisted of mini blueberry pavlovas, lemon cupcakes, hazelnut orange chocolate scones, and raspberry vanilla petit fours. Be sure to visit SugarHero to get the recipes for these delicious little morsels. Hope you enjoy!!
