Easter Basket Ideas for Kids
Happy first day of Spring!! With Easter just a couple of weeks away, I wanted to share some ideas for getting ready for that special day. I always grew up getting a special dress for Easter Sunday and being excited to find an Easter Basket from the Bunny and go on an Easter Egg hunt, so I'm really excited to pass on these traditions to my little girl. I love this dress because it is really sweet and classic looking. I got a periwinkle cardigan to go with it and I love that it can be dressed up for church, but comfy enough for her to play around in it after. For her Easter basket, I wanted to keep things simple since she isn't even two yet and just get a few things that I think she will have fun with - besides hunting for the candy and eggs is way more exciting;) I got a classic Peter Rabbit book, some darling bunny ears, a set of egg shaped chalk, a jump rope, some nail polish and lipstick, as well as a twig creative wooden toy camera. I also think art supplies are a great idea to put in there as well as outdoor activities like bubbles, squirt guns, or balls. I didn't stuff the basket full of candy since she is pretty little and I may have eaten all the Cadbury mini eggs myself . . . so I may have to pick up some more of those. Hope this helps you as you're getting your ideas ready for your own little ones.
