His and Her Home Office Design
I'm so happy to finally be able to share this his and her home office space that I designed for Leila Lewis, the founder of Inspired By This for her new home in Denver. This beautiful space was a formal living room when they first moved in and the built-in fireplace, tall windows, and double french doors to the outdoor patio made it a perfect spot to create a work space for her and her husband in their own home with plenty of lounge room for meetings as well. I designed the room around a neutral pallet with pops of color in the artwork and pillows. We wanted to keep everything fresh and modern while still working with the traditional touches in the room. Working together with Leila through lots of FaceTime and emails, we were able to narrow down pieces from Wayfair that were both comfortable as well as functional. We accented all of the modern elements with gold touches throughout the room including the pretty frames around the artwork from Minted. The gallery wall is one of my favorite focal points in the room and I love how it brings in a California vibe so they can always remember their manhattan beach home. I really like how the space feels put together, but lived in and it works for their family. It's the best part of my job to see the space come to life after so much planning and when the client loves the results of your design as much as you.
