Putting together a Halloween Party for kids

Putting together a Halloween Party for kids

With Halloween just a week away, I wanted to share this fun kids party I put together for Capri and Liam and a couple of their friends to have a spooky little lunch.  I have used the kids plates from Replay Recycle ever since Capri first started eating solid foods so we love them at our houses.  So I was really excited when they came out with these fun orange and black Halloween sets this month and knew they'd be perfect for a kids party.  You can also get free shipping on this Halloween collection so I would hurry and order them.  Another one of my favorite things for the party were these bat balloons!  I mean how cute are they??  My darling friend Annie, just launched her shop The Paper House that is filled with the cutest stationary, cards, party decor, gifts and so much more.  When I saw her halloween collection that included a set of these bat balloons, the little pumpkin garland, and the black and white striped napkins - I knew I wanted to use them for this party.  And last, but not least these cute garlands and ribbon hanging are from one of my favorite stores in Utah, Amy Boutique.  Everytime I am visiting my parents in Salt Lake City I have to stop in to see all of her cute things.  Not only is it the best place to get all your decorative ribbons and bags of candy you want, but she has the prettiest clothes for adults and babies and holiday decorations that always blow me away.  It's a must stop if you are in the area.  I also picked up these paper lanterns from her shop and they'd be so cute hanging in a cluster over a dining table.  With all of these fun decorations, the kids were so excited to have a little party of their own.  I kept the food simple with apples, carrots, and corndogs on the menu for lunch and then filled in the table with lots of halloween goodies including pirates booty and pumpkin pretzels.  They decorated sugar cookies after and painted pumpkins which was a big hit.  You can really just keep it simple to one activity for kids and they are happy campers, or even put on a little halloween show for them while they eat their treats.  Just doing little things for them to make the holidays special is so fun because they get excited about everything.
